How It Works
2 - Booking Lessons
You will receive a booking link and code to book your lessons. Memberships bill on the first of each month and your lessons will auto-reset.

Choose the subscription level that suits your riding experience and goals.
3 - Flexible Schedules
If you need to reschedule a lesson you can do so on our booking page using your account. Please see additional information below regarding this.
Riding Pathway
Riders will begin with the New Rider Special (see details below). After completing this introductory phase, athletes will choose a riding-frequency membership. Please note that riding twice per week is mandatory for progressing to cantering and jumping activities, as consistent practice is essential for rider development. For those pursuing competition training, riders are required to ride 3–4 times per week. Please inquire regarding horse leases and sales.

Blue Level - Advanced
Trot - transition
Trotting of pole patterns
Know correct diagonals
Sitting trot no stirrups
Serpentine while at the trot
Posting trot no stirrups
Shorten the reins correctly.
Walk, trot, and halt transitions
Steer using body 2-point/posting/sitting trot without lower leg shifting

Riding Levels
Yellow Level - Beginner
Correctly mount the horse/pony
Demonstrate beginning balancing on the horse
Correctly dismount the horse/pony
Know difference between walk, sitting, and posting trots
Maintain speed at trot using hands, legs, weight/seat
Steer at the trot using reins and leg 2 point at walk and trot.
Drop and pick up stirrups at walk
Correctly halt a horse/pony
Steering basic maneuvers such as circles
Walk-to-trot transition Identify diagonals
Red Level - Intermediate

Ready to start your riding journey? Horizons East Show Stables is offering an exclusive package for new students! Purchase two lessons and receive a third lesson at no additional cost.
This special package is available to new students only, with a limit of one per rider lifetime. All lessons must be used within 30 days of purchase. A one-time $25 registration fee and a $50 horse/equipment use fee are included in the package. To ensure a smooth experience, please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled lesson to learn the necessary pre-ride preparations.

Access to beginner-level group classes focusing on basic riding skills, horse handling, and safety.
Priority booking for special clinics and events.

Silver Membership - $710/Month

Ideal for the more serious riders looking for consistent training.

Eight lessons per month (1-2 lessons per week).
Access to intermediate-level group classes focusing on improving riding technique, introducing jumping, and advanced horse care.
Priority booking for intermediate clinics and special events.

This fee covers equipment use, arena management, and horse feed and care.

Gold Membership - $880/Month

Ten lessons per month
Access to advanced-level group classes focusing on competitive riding, advanced jumping, and dressage.
Priority booking for advanced clinics, competitions, and exclusive events.

Additional Information & Policies

If you miss a lesson, you may schedule a makeup session within the same month, subject to availability. All rescheduling must be done through the booking platform—text messages and emails will not be accepted for cancellations or rescheduling.

Lessons must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid forfeiture. If you are running late, there is a 15-minute grace period before your lesson is considered canceled. Please use the group text with your instructor to notify them of any delays.

You can upgrade your membership at any time to access more lessons or advanced classes.

If your desired class time is full, please use the group text to check if accommodations can be made.

To compete with upper-level skills - such as cantering and jumping - riders are required to participate two times per week at a minimum for safety and skill development.
