At Horizons East, we love helping new riders fall in love with horses. Whether  your child is riding for the very first time or you’re simply curious about lessons, we’re here to make that first step easy, safe, and fun. Our mission is to nurture and develop top-tier riders through a family-owned and operated approach.

Centrally located on the border of Livermore and Pleasanton, with over 35 years of excellence, our value is quality over quantity. We are dedicated to upholding the English riding tradition and offer comprehensive rider development programs that cater to all skill levels. We specialize in introducing children and adults to these skills with a focus on show jumping. Our experienced instructors are patient, encouraging, and focused on building confidence both in and out of the saddle.

We keep our lesson groups small so every rider gets personal attention, and we match students with friendly, well-trained horses that help them learn at their own pace. Riders not only gain skills, but also grow in responsibility, teamwork, and self-assurance.

We also offer private and semi-private lessons, allowing for a highly personalized and focused approach to rider development. For those who are  not ready to commit to lessons, we have small group horsemanship clinics to allow those interested in learning about horses, to explore horseback riding and horse care.
